An Introduction to the Art of Painting

Welcome to Strokes of Color!

Strokes of Color is a new educational concept developed by our studio in conjunction with other popular studios, beginning teachers and the Traditions Teachers of  the Traditions Educational Program.  This new format will included both book and video education.  The lessons will be constructed in a manner that will be very easy for an artist to study at home at their own pace.  The program will be coordinated with other independent studios and their Traditions programs to give the beginning artist a wealth of educational choices and lessons as they learn the Art of Painting. 

Each lesson builds on each other starting with the beginning concepts of surface preparation and basecoats.   Paints, brushes, techniques, surfaces etc. will all be explored in this extensive 3 book and 36 DVD series.
