This year in the Rosemaling Seminar we will begin our studies of all styles of Rosemaling. To start this journey we have selected 3 popular styles. They are painted on 20 inch Lefsa boards. We will learn, layered stroke blending, stroke blending, tipping, reverse tipping along with several other techniques. Extra designs for these styles will also be available. Come prepared for lots of painting! Our goal in the next few years is to style different styles each year painting them on these lefsa boards. They make a perfect traditional display of your collection.

Dutch Floral - 5 Day Floral- Global Blending

This year we will study the art of Abraham Mignon. The Dutch Master died at the age of 39 but created some of the most detailed paintings ever seen from the Dutch era. The painting shown will be taught over 5 days. Alternate flowers and design elements will be included should you desire to change the design. The painting shown is not finished. Details still need to be applied.
