20 years!  This next year Jansen Art Studio will be celebrating 20 years of creating with you.  This past week we returned to Hiroshima, Japan to have an open exhibition.  This was the place of our first international seminar 20 years ago.  It was wonderful to see old friends and meet new ones.  We displayed over 300 paintings from old to current work and featured many free painting demonstrations for the public in a beautiful 4,000 sq foot building next to the peace park. 

There was however a sadness in just how many were no longer painting and enjoying the art of creating any longer.  Everyone always said they are "so busy".  Social media has taken over our lives! When we returned home, we began to realize just how many friends were no longer painting.  Painting gives such joy and creating empowers your soul.  Lets get back to the fun of creating again!  Come celebrate 20 years with us!

To that end, our studio is returning to the art of teaching and sharing.  We will be reducing our social activities on facebook and replacing them with online classes and painting demonstrations in new websites designed to paint with you each day.  We will be giving LIVE online classes where you can watch and ask questions in real time. 

Time to paint with friends again.  We miss those connections.  With the upcoming holiday season, there is no time like the present to create some beautiful gifts for the special people in your life.  Starting next week, we will be featuring several new and quick painting ideas for your holiday giving.
