For the Love of Art and Teaching
David teaching in San Diego in 1998
In 1997 after working 18 years in the family business, David and Martha started a new journey, The Jansen Art Studio. In 2002 they moved the studio from California to Pennsylvania and began developing new paint and brush systems with various companies. For the next several years they traveled the world, over 1 million miles spreading the love of art. In 2008 after their daughter Jessica joined the business they pioneered a new painting system, Hertitage MulitMedia. The family then developed new brush lines to go with the new non toxic paint system. Today the main studio is based in their 13,000 sq ft. Sidney Fine Art Center in Sidney Nebraska. Most of the time is spent restoring this beautiful building which was built in 1918 as a Methodist Church. Please visit some of our other websites such as the Jansen Art Foundation to learn more about what are family is doing to preserve and share all art forms.
Shortly after David and Martha moved the studio from California to Pennsylvania their daughter Jessica joined the bussiness. Working for her BFA degree then talking over the paint and brush production. In 2017 as a family we begun the restoration and decoration of the Sidney Fine Art Gallery/Jansen Art Gallery in Sidney, Nebraska.
